This U.S. News & World Report article (“Kenya Gears Up for What Could Be Its ‘Most Normal’ Election in History”) references my team at IFES’s work project to develop human rights respecting AI to monitor overall levels of hate and incitement online in relation to the 2022 Kenyan General Election. We provided analytics to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to support their efforts to administer a safe and inclusive election.
